The clients approached us with a plan for their ’70s Passive solar home in Canterbury, NH.  The plan was to create a new kitchen and entry area with an addition that would blend into the existing slab on grade structure.  The 2-story addition will expand the main living area nicely with an open kitchen feel, reconfigure the entry with a mudroom and storage area and create a large gathering room on the 2nd floor for entertaining and family space.  This special property is a respite for Monarch butterflies and Permaculture principles outside with thoughtful and sustainable living inside.
